Hillary Listening Intelligence Briefing At first as a US presidential candidate


NEW YORK - Hillary Clinton received a briefing (briefing) its first national security as US presidential candidate of the Democratic Party on Saturday, August 27 local time. Donald Trump had already received a similar briefing from US intelligence agencies (FBI) in White Plains, New York earlier this month. 

Issues discussed during the briefing for Hillary is certainly not something new. Because he had served as foreign minister in the first period of leadership of Obama in 2004. That position has enabled it to see the most secret documents of national security and intelligence analysis studied the results from all over the world.

To that end, he takes approximately two hours in White Plains. Majority discuss global security threats associated with the US. The FBI office itself is located not far from his home. 

Proclaimed The Guardian, Sunday (28/08/2016), the arrival of Hillary to the White Plains is somewhat different to that of Trump. The former first lady came alone without his aides. While a Republican candidate visited the FBI office, he entered with retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie. 

The briefing delivered by career staff in White Plains is already a tradition for every US presidential candidates who will advance to the presidential election. This activity has been carried out over the last 60 years. The aim is to ensure the next leadership transition process in Uncle Sam runs smoothly.
